We envision empowered students that cultivate character, connect to culture, pursue education and contribute to their community in order to thrive in a diverse global society.
Erie Elementary Charter School is born from Erie Neighborhood House, a comprehensive social service agency that promotes a just and inclusive society. Erie Elementary embodies the vision of providing families choice in schools where students can receive a nurturing, caring environment while getting a great K-8 education.
The Habits are woven throughout our curriculum and our community culture.
Students show consideration for themselves, for the community and for the environment
Students think critically, draw connections, and practice social-emotional awareness
Students learn to work together, to ask questions, and to be accountable to high quality work
We apply an evidence-based framework for delivering high‐quality, differentiated instruction and tailored support for all students.
We reflect the Habits of Heart, Mind & Work in our personal character and professional actions with children, parents, co-workers, and the community.
