Dear Parents,

In our class we are very proud of students who follow the Habits of Work. This means your child worked very hard and completed their class work and homework on time. Beginning the first full week of November, we'll begin to honor our students' who complete all their homework everyday neatly and on time with "Homework Hero" certificates.

Our "Homework Hero" certificates will go out on Friday at the end of day after all work is checked and returned. If your child receives one every Friday of the month for 3 months straight, they'll be invited to an outing with their classmates who also received these certificates and myself.

Our outings will take place afterschool on a Friday. You are welcome to come with your child. This year, our outings are for the following completed months:

-November - end of January: We'll go bowling together with pizza and drinks

-February - end of April: Chucky Cheese

-May: BBQ at park (place TBA)

You are not expected to pay for anything, however if you'd like to donate to these events you may do so at the event. I'm very excited because your child has worked hard and for making good choices and being responsible, a positive consequence is rewarded.
