Dear Parents and 4th Grader,
Welcome back to another year of learning and amazing experiences! I'm happy to say that we'll be working together in the University of Michigan Classroom this year. It is our first time together as a fourth grade class!
My name is Ms. Buleje and this is my first time teaching 4th grade. I have been teaching 2-3rd grade for the past 5 years and I am very excited to start this new journey with you.
This year be ready to explore new math strategies, learn about magnets, the motion of the Sun, strengthen your writing skills, travel to African Kingdoms, China, become a strong reader and so much more! You'll have Spanish Class with Mrs. DeLeon and this year we'll have Music two times a week!
Parents will be in communications with me on a weekly basis on your progress and homework. I'll send out information on our class expectations, schedule, our Hopes and Dreams and Homework Policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to communicate with me via-email or call the school. My classroom is open to visitors and volunteers! Please check our website for class activities and any important information.
On your first day and everyday remember to follow the Parent Handbook on how you should dress for school. Please remember to bring your school supplies; with this letter I'm attaching the class supplies list.
