After
School
The Erie Neighborhood House After School program
creates a safe, resource-rich environment for children, featuring academic
support, technology access, sports, arts activities and nutritional
snacks. Children participate in a wide variety of activities after school
during the academic year and all day on holidays and vacation periods. Our
program offers up to 30 educational and cultural field trips and 12 family
activities per year. Our mission is “Partnering with parents to promote
the well being of each child.”
The after school program is grounded in individualized attention
and a choice-based curriculum that fosters independence and
responsibility. We integrate Illinois State Board of Education standards
and EECS classroom curriculum into our core activities. Our hours
of operation are Monday through Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. and on school
holidays and summer vacations 7:30 a.m. – 5:50 p.m.
If you are interested in enrolling your child in the
program, please contact Evelyn Corona, Intake Coordinator at Erie Neighborhood
House ecorona@eriehouse.org or via
phone at 312.432.2218 or Fran Contreras, Site Director fcontreras@eriehouse.org
