Estimados Padres y Tutores Legales,

Bienvenidos al cuarto 104, hogar de los exploradores de Long Island University (LIU). Mi nombre es Srta. Vazquez, y junto con la Sra. Rodriguez,  seré la maestra de sus estudiantes este año. Estoy muy emocionada para empezar el año escolar. Quiero invitarles a Uds., y a sus familias, a entrar a la clase para leer cuentos, compartir sus experiencias, y celebrar los logros de sus estudiantes. El salón 104 será un salon abierto, y yo, junto con mis alumnos, nos encantará si vinieran cuando puedan para ayudarnos.

Ahora, quiero compartir algunas cosas acerca de mi vida. Estoy muy contenta con estar en la Escuela Erie. La oportunidad de trabajar con los estudiantes del primer grado, en los años más importantes para el aprendizaje, me inspira. Mi familia es originalmente de México, me encanta leer, y tengo una hermanita que está estudiando en la Universidad de Wisconsin-Madison.

La Sra. Rodriquez quiere compartir que es su segundo año trabajando con los estudiantes de LIU. Tiene un hermanito que empezará el primer grado este año. Está muy alegre de apoyar a sus estudiantes y de trabajar con ellos.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to room 104, home to the explorers of Long Island University. My name is Ms. Vazquez and together with Ms. Rogriquez, I will be your student's teacher this year. I am very excited to begin the school year. I would like to invite you, and your family, to read stories, share your experiences, and celebrate your students' accomplishments. Room 104 will be an open room, and the students and I would love if you would come to the class to help when you can.

Now I would like to share some things about my life. I am very happy to be at Erie Charter School. The opportunity to work with students in first grade, in the most important years for learning, inspires me. My family is originally from Mexico, I love to read, and I have a younger sister who is in College at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Ms. Rodriguez would like to share that this is her second year working with the students in LIU. She has a younger brother who will be starting first grade this year. She is very happy to work with and support your students.
